Netanyahu Accepted Trump's Peace Plan

Netanyahu accepted Trump's peace plan for the Gaza Strip. The irony is that by accepting Washington peace proposal, the Israeli prime minister is receiving Donald Trump full geopolitical and military support to carry out any type of military operations.

The American President Donald Trump said on Monday that the US will fully support Israel in taking any necessary actions if Hamas refuses his latest peace plan. Earlier in the day, the White House published President Trump’s 21-point peace plan, which aims to create a deradicalized, terror-free Gaza with hostage releases, and prisoner exchanges.

"And if Hamas rejects the deal, which is always possible, they're the only one left. Everyone else has accepted it, but I have a feeling that we're going to have a positive answer," Trump said at a press conference with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. "But if not, as you know Bibi, you'd have our full backing to do what you would have to do."

During the presser after the talks, Trump said he discussed other issues with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu beyond ending the war in Gaza, which should lead to achieving "eternal peace on the Middle East." "I'm not just talking about Gaza. Gaza is one thing, but we're talking about much beyond Gaza, the whole deal, everything getting solved. It's called peace in the Middle East," Trump told reporters after the talks. The president added that Gaza is a part of a bigger picture that also includes "Iran, trade, the expansion of the Abraham Accords."

US preparing for strikes in Venezuela

According to an NBC source, the US is “preparing options” for strikes on alleged drug traffickers inside Venezuela. In the last couple of weeks, Washington has sunk at least three boats it alleges were carrying narcotics off the coast of the Latin American country, killing at least 17 people. Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro has denied any links to drug trafficking and insists that the attacks were part of a US attempt to overthrow him.

The bombing of Venezuela could happen “in a matter of weeks,” the broadcaster reported on Saturday. However, according to its sources, the measure has not yet been approved by US President Donald Trump. The United States military operation is being discussed in Washington mainly include drone strikes on drug laboratories as well as members and leaders of trafficking groups.

The United States government is considering further escalations because some in the Trump administration are disappointed that the deployment of US warships and aircraft to the Caribbean and attacks on boats did “not appear to have weakened Maduro’s grip on power or prompted any significant response,” one of the sources said.

Trump is “prepared to use every element of American power to stop drugs from flooding into our country and to bring those responsible to justice,” a senior administration official told NBC.

US revokes Colombian president entry visa

The United States will revoke Colombian President's entry visa, after what American officials described as “reckless and incendiary statements” during a street protest in New York City, the State Department announced late Friday. The Colombian president, Gustavo Petro, spoke through a megaphone, addressing a crowd of pro-Palestinian protesters earlier in the day. The incident occurred days after his fiery address at the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly, where he openly criticized US foreign policy and called for legal action against President Donald Trump.

Protests gripped New York during Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s appearance at the United Nations on Friday. Thousands of demonstrators marched through Midtown Manhattan, many of them calling for a ceasefire in Gaza and denouncing Netanyahu as a “war criminal.”

“Disobey Trump’s orders — obey humanity’s orders,” Petro told the crowd via a translator. “I knelt down as a Christian before the graves of thousands of American soldiers who died in the fields of Europe fighting against Hitler. The grandparents of today’s mariners and soldiers. The United States Army must set an example. They are in a great alliance with peoples from all over the world.”

During his UN address on Tuesday, President Petro issued a scathing critique of Western powers, accusing the US of perpetuating global inequality, as he described the war in Gaza as “genocide.” Trump… allows missiles to be launched against young children, women, and the elderly in Gaza, making himself complicit in genocide,” Petro said in his UN remarks.

The State Department has not clarified whether Petro will be expelled immediately or how the decision might affect future diplomatic engagements. The Colombian government has not yet issued an official response.

Spain and Italy send warships to protect flotilla

Spain and Italy send warships to protect Gaza-bound flotilla. The decision was made right after after the ships, which carry humanitarian aid onboard, came under a drone attack. The Global Sumud Flotilla (GSF), a civilian fleet of some 50 ships headed for Gaza after it came under a new drone attack yesterday. The ships carrying humanitarian supplies had set sail from Barcelona early in September to try to break Israel’s naval blockade of Gaza.

The fleet, with 500 volunteers and politicians onboard, came under a drone attack late on Tuesday off the coast of Greece. Activists said the vessels were targeted by drones that dropped explosive devices and caused more than a dozen explosions around the ships. They blamed Israel for the attack. Following the incident, Rome and Madrid said they would dispatch navy ships to protect the flotilla and ensure the safety of their citizens aboard. Italian PM Giorgia Meloni condemned the drone attacks while calling the GSF flotilla a “dangerous, irresponsible” means to deliver aid.

It is not an act of war, it is not a provocation: it is an act of humanity, which is a duty of a state towards its citizens,” Italian Defense Minister Guido Crosetto told the country’s parliament.

A similar rationale for the warship’s deployment was given by Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez, who said the vessel was needed “to ensure that, if necessary, our citizens can be rescued.”

“I want to make it clear to the government of Israel that Spain will, of course, protect its nationals, and we will do so both diplomatically and politically,” he stressed.

Israel has pledged to stop the flotilla from entering the Palestinian enclave, arguing that it was an “active combat zone” put under “lawful naval blockade.” West Jerusalem halted two previous attempts to break the blockade taken by the activists in June and July.

Countries That Recognized Palestine

The developed countries that recognized Palestine are China, Russia, France, United Kingdom, Spain, Ireland, Canada, Australia, Belgium, Luxembourg, and Portugal. Italy will recognize it in the future after a number of conditions are met. Thus, Palestinian Statehood has been recognized as a nation by over 150 nations. Meanwhile, the United States of America and Israel opposes the existence of Palestine.

Russia maintains that a Middle East peace settlement can only be achieved through existing UN Security Council resolutions, with a Palestinian state based on the pre-1967 borders and East Jerusalem as its capital. You must remember that United Nation General Assembly passed the 181 resolution that authorized the creation of two sovereign States (Israel and Palestine) in the territories that had been the British Mandate of Palestine granted to the UK by the League of Nation after World War I. But Israel occupied the whole of Palestine in a series of wars, including West Jerusalem which had been granted to the Palestinians.

North Korea Supports Russian Operations in Ukraine

North Korea supports Russian operations in Ukraine. This is what North Korean foreign minister, Choe Son Hui, stated and reassured Sergey Lavrov, his Russian counterpart, during a meeting in Wonsan. Pyongyang has reaffirmed its unequivocal support for all the goals of Russia’s special military operation in Ukraine, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said at a press conference following talks with his North Korean counterpart Choe Son Hui in Wonsan.

"We exchanged views on the situation surrounding the Ukrainian crisis," he noted. "Our Korean friends confirmed their firm support for all the objectives of the special military operation, as well as for the actions of the Russian leadership and armed forces. In turn, we once again expressed our sincere gratitude for the contribution of Korean People’s Army servicemen to the successful liberation of the Kursk Region from Ukrainian Nazis and foreign mercenaries," Lavrov added.

We must bear in mind that North Korea also supports Iran geopolitically and militarily, along with China, which has just supplied Tehran with surface-to-air missile defense system and 40 J-10C fighter aircraft. Pyongyang has provided Tehran with conventional high-explosive warheads for Iran's medium-range missiles as well as with rocket fuel. We must remember that North Korea has already developed and acquired their own nuclear warheads for its arsenal.

Israel Claims Preemptive Self-Defense

Israel claims preemptive self-defense in the future. This is what President Benjamin Netanyahu stated to an Associated Press journalist as he headed for a meeting with his ministers. He implied Israel has the right to attack Iran even under a ceasefire agreement and whenever he deems necessary.

In answer to this statement, Iranian ambassador to the United Nations Amir Sa'eed Iravani has just called on the Security Council to reject the United States and Israel's claim on their "preemptive self-defense" for a possible future aggression against Iran. ¨An unprovoked attack on Iran is not preemptive self-defense. Bombing a foreign country on a cultural prejudiced assumption that this country might attack Israel is simply a blatant and egregious criminal act that has a high cost in human lives and material damage to the attacked country's infrastructure¨.

The U.S. had cited Article 51 of the U.N. Charter to justify its 21 June strikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities as an act of self-defense. Iran denounced this explanation as a “blatant distortion” of international law and the Charter, stating that the attack violated its sovereignty and the principles governing the peaceful use of nuclear energy.

“Iran’s nuclear sites are under full I.A.E.A. safeguards and have been repeatedly confirmed as peaceful,” the letter said.

The document cited General Assembly Resolution 3314 and International Court of Justice rulings—including the 1986 Nicaragua and 2003 Oil Platforms cases—to argue that preemptive force cannot constitute lawful self-defense.

Iran also dismissed allegations of an imminent nuclear threat as “unfounded,” pointing to recent I.A.E.A. reports and the U.S. intelligence assessments that showed no evidence of weapons development.

The U.N. Security Council Resolution 487 (1981) and I.A.E.A. General Conference Resolutions GC(XXIX)/RES/444 and GC(XXXIV)/RES/533 were referenced to reinforce that attacks on peaceful nuclear facilities are prohibited under international law.
