US attacked Iran

The US attacked Iran, hitting targets located deep in its territory. The United States used stealth B-2 bombers to strike three different sites. They flew into Iran's air space and dropped GBU-57 bunker-buster bombs to destroy Tehran's uranium enrichment plant at Fordow, which is located at 80-meter deep below ground in the Zagros Mountains. The US Air Force and Navy also attacked other two Iranian nuclear facilities at Natanz and Isfahan, using Tomahawk cruise missiles.

Iran has accused the United States of violating international law and the Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) with its overnight strikes on key nuclear facilities, while assuring the public that no radioactive contamination has been detected at the targeted sites yet.
