North Korea supports Russian operations in Ukraine. This is what North Korean foreign minister, Choe Son Hui, stated and reassured Sergey Lavrov, his Russian counterpart, during a meeting in Wonsan. Pyongyang has reaffirmed its unequivocal support for all the goals of Russia’s special military operation in Ukraine, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said at a press conference following talks with his North Korean counterpart Choe Son Hui in Wonsan.
"We exchanged views on the situation surrounding the Ukrainian crisis," he noted. "Our Korean friends confirmed their firm support for all the objectives of the special military operation, as well as for the actions of the Russian leadership and armed forces. In turn, we once again expressed our sincere gratitude for the contribution of Korean People’s Army servicemen to the successful liberation of the Kursk Region from Ukrainian Nazis and foreign mercenaries," Lavrov added.
We must bear in mind that North Korea also supports Iran geopolitically and militarily, along with China, which has just supplied Tehran with surface-to-air missile defense system and 40 J-10C fighter aircraft. Pyongyang has provided Tehran with conventional high-explosive warheads for Iran's medium-range missiles as well as with rocket fuel. We must remember that North Korea has already developed and acquired their own nuclear warheads for its arsenal.
